Master guitarist, singer, voice talent and gifted entertainer- Riley is the perfect choice for your next event. Here's a brief sampling of what satisfied clients have to say:
"Riley was awesome. Everyone kept asking me where I know him from and thought we were best friends because of how comfortable he acted around my friends and family. I asked Riley to play a suprise song for the Bride and he did such a great job. The reception music was awesome as well. Thank You, Riley Wilson. Thank You, Gigmasters." David and Jackie Schlicht.
"Riley was simply wonderful! He not only sounded wonderful, he was very professional and helped us whenever we asked! We really enjoyed having him at our wedding.. he was VERY pleasant!! Thank you Riley for helping to make our magical day even more special!" Jennifer Williams, McKinney, TX
"We really enjoyed your performance! It was the perfect choice for our reception. Everyone has been complimenting your talent and vast array of songs. I gave your card to the marketing director at my bank and we hope to find an event we can have you back to Batesville to play again later this year. Your talent is unmatched and your professionalism was a breath of fresh air in the wedding planning process. We will recommend you to everyone for any type event. Thanks again,"
Jason and Brook, Batesville, AR

"Riley was very professional from our initial contact thru the actual event. He stayed in contact weekly to ensure that everything was in order so that he delivered what we needed for our corporate event. He is extremely talented, entertaining, and very pleasant personality which made for a nice connection with the attendees at our event. His playlist was exceptional and offered something for everyone. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for entertainment for any size event. Thanks Riley........it was a pleasure working with you and you certainly helped make our event a success. Hope to see you again when our company heads back to TX." Mike F., Gadsden, AL
"Riley is a very talented artist with a great personality. His performance was perfect for the party in our home. I am very glad he was here to help make my 50th an enjoyable and memorable event!" Geoff G, The Woodlands, TX
"Riley went above and beyond to ensure he was prepared for our event. He visited the venue to avoid surprises; he clarified the styles of music we requested; he confirmed that the attire he had mind for the evening was appropriate. The video he has posted on the internet gives you an idea as to the quality of his sound, but it does not do justice to his presence "in person". His voice is smooth and as flawless as his guitar playing. Many of the guests went out of their way to comment to me how impressed they were with talent. We will, with no doubt, call Riley for any future entertainment needs or if one of our sons should choose to take guitar lessons!" - Christy L, Frisco, TX

Private Party- March, 2010- Pilot Point, TX

"Many of my years have been spent being around various musicians (both big names and no names). Little did I know that when I found your website how wonderful you would be. Not only did you delight, but blew way past my expectations. You are so very talented and play such a wide spectrum of music which truly makes your appeal power very broad to many. I look forward to the next time that I plan a party. A party is not a party without you, Riley. Thanks so much for rockin' our socks off!" Cindy Solomon, Irving, TX
"Riley played beautifully and was everything we wanted and expected. The wedding march on acoustic guitar is beautiful and we were very pleased. Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend Riley!"-Leigh B, Plano, TX
"Riley Wilson MADE the Surprise 95th B-Day PARTY for my Mother-in-Law! Without Riley Wilson the party would have been very dull! Riley is a very talented entertainer who plays as a perfectionist. He played each request flawlessly both on guitar and vocals. Rock n Roll, Classical, Country Rock Classic Pop- you name it, he can play it.. My Mother-In-Law who just turned 95, keeps talking about Riley and how she really enjoyed his music!" Ellen S, Irving, TX
"We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed you singing last night. it really made Sonny’s birthday extra special. You do an AWESOME job!!! Everyone was talking about how good you were and wanted to know how I found you. You made my niece’s night by letting her sing Happy Birthday to Sonny-that was so very nice of you. We will definitely recommend you to our friends!!!! Not to mention if we should have another party ourselves and need live entertainment you will be the first name on our list to call. Thank you again." Sandy and Sonny Webb, Cypress, TX

"I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you entertaining the residents of the Renaissance on Turtle Creek. I have been playing for 30 years myself and consider myself a good critic of live entertainment. You were awesome!! You set the mood just right, you played to the crowd that was in attendance and it was at the right volume. Thank you very much and I assure you we will call on you again in the future." Duane Bates, General Manager, Renaissance on Turtle Creek, Dallas, TX
"Riley was very professional and he has an approachable demeanor. He played a great arrangement of songs at a perfect volume that allowed for our guests to talk while still enjoying the music and he is extremely talented. I highly recommend hiring Riley for any event."
--Heidi A., Irving, TX

"Thank you for making our wedding so memorable with your beautiful music. You made a perfect day even better."
Colleen and Alan, Plano, TX
"Riley was on-time, responsive, courteous and professional in every sense. His talent is extraordinary and the fans really appreciated having someone of his caliber at our event." Larry Faulkner, President, McKinney Blue Thunder- McKinney, TX
VERSATILITY- Unlike most performers who remain locked into one style of music, Riley is comfortable with all musical genres. His varied background (graduate of UNC- Chapel Hill and Hollywood's prestigious Musicians' Institute, "Vintage Guitar" magazine columnist, national voice over specialist, guitar and voice teacher) coupled with 36 years of live shows experience enable him to play all styles of music convincingly. He can play unaccompanied solo guitar as well as combine his guitar and voice with backing tracks for a full band sound in a small space.
FLEXIBILITY- Some musicians come unglued if they can't play at a certain volume, pout when they get special requests they can't handle or whine when asked to wear a particular outfit. Not Riley- his years of playing venues from coast to coast have helped him develop the ability to entertain even the most difficult crowds. Volume and costume requests are no problem- from casual dress to formal attire and even authentic western wear, Riley can fit in at any engagement . Additionally, his years of experience as a radio personality, commercial and voice talent means that special announcements and introductions are handled with a degree of professionalism no other solo performer can match.
"These days, I usually bring my guitar, amp, mike and sequencer to most of my solo shows. I play a variety of smooth jazz, pop, country, folk and rock tunes with the sequencer, but invariably, someone will request a tune I either don't have a backing track for or a tune that doesn't require it. I'll play the piece with just my guitar and sing, if it's a vocal tune, or play the tune as an instrumental. I do all my classical pieces and many jazz standards that way. It's almost pointless to include a songlist since so many shows veer from the tunes printed below. Many times, people request something I've never played before and I will play it anyway. It's just too much fun!"
THE FUN FACTOR- Most importantly, your guests want to have fun. This is where Riley excels. "Playing so many years in restaurants, strolling and taking requests, helped me understand how to kick things into high gear and when to lay back," he emphasizes. "It's not often people stump me, either musically or comically. We always have a great time, and that's the entire premise of my show- have fun!"
