He went WELL above and beyond what was expected and I am forever grateful to him for working so hard to make our day so much more special! The guests all had a great time at the reception thanks to Riley. We would absolutely book him again and cannot thank him enough for all his help and wonderful talent!!!" "Riley did an outstanding job! He was very accomodating, playing selections I requested, working with our time schedule during the event, and the music sounded great! Riley is very skilled, has a great voice, and is able to perform a variety of music styles - country, pop, oldies, easy listening. He also plays a wonderful variety of instrumental classical and jazz selections. He is an extremely versatile and talented musician!" Marilyn L, Tyler, TX
"Thank you so much for the wonderful performance you gave for Jim's 60th birthday party. I appreciated the flow of communication you kept with me before the party, your professionalism, and was greatly impressed with your talent! Everyone enjoyed the music and whenever we run into people who were at the party, they still bring it up and comment on how much they enjoyed the entertainment. So, the one man band was certainly well worth the money spent, was a big hit with everyone, and I will most definitely contact you for any future events.
Thanks again," Debra B. Melissa, TX
"Riley performed at our daughter's rehearsal dinner. We had a mixed audience from the wedding party (early 20's) to grandparent's ( on up there! ). Riley provided exactly the right level of energy for this event. He was pleasant, cheerful, entertaining, and his music was excellent. Everything he played was true to the original and easily recognized by the listeners. He is easy to work with, accommodating and willing to suggest ideas when requested. Riley did a wonderful job and I would quickly recommend him to anyone planning an event." Mark H, Pilot Point, TX
"Every single person at the rehearsal dinner commented on how wonderful you were! My husband and I would not hesitate to use you for any future event that we may host. I have a type A personality and rarely does anyone exceed my expectations; you did!!! Thanks so much!" Lynn E, Southlake, TX
"Wow, what a great success! Riley was so professional and the crowd loved him. He played songs that appealed to everyone and took requests. He managed to get everyone dancing by the end of the night by the pool! I would definitely recommend Riley Wilson for your upcoming gatherings. Neighbors down the street thought I had a full band playing in the backyard as the sound was beautiful!"
Jackie S, Flower Mound, TX

Rockin' the Bayou- wedding reception March 19, 2011- New Iberia, LA
"We booked Riley for our wedding in South Louisiana. He played during our engagement so it was an easy choice to ask him to play for the wedding, as well. I was surprised to see how much the guests enjoy the song list. I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! Riley was great to work with also. We communicated multiple times prior to the wedding and he was able to accomodate my special requests songs. He even learned the first dance so he could play/sing it for us! He is great to work with and my husband and I recommend him to everyone!" -Jasmine and Xan C- Mckinney, TX
Riley's website information, his audio segments, and the public feedback from his previous events prompted me to call him. After a brief telephone interview, I hired him for my event. I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice! His repetoire was exensive, his personality was engaging, and my guests were very impressed with his One Man band! Other restaurant guests wanted to join our party - they kept gravitating towards the live music! I will most definitely hire Riley again and I would encourage anyone looking for a great singer and a great personality to consider Riley. Angela B, Dallas, TX

"Thanks so much for performing for my Fall Festival. Everyone LOVED listening – and singing along with – your music. You play and sing such a wide variety of songs that there was something for everyone! You were a big part of making our Festival fun, and we look forward to having you back out for another event!"

Getting down with the bride and groom, June 2010
"Riley was very professional from our initial contact thru the actual event. He stayed in contact weekly to ensure that everything was in order so that he delivered what we needed for our corporate event. He is extremely talented, entertaining, and very pleasant personality which made for a nice connection with the attendees at our event. His playlist was exceptional and offered something for everyone. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for entertainment for any size event. Thanks Riley........it was a pleasure working with you and you certainly helped make our event a success. Hope to see you again when our company heads back to TX." Mike F., Gadsden, AL
"Riley went above and beyond to ensure he was prepared for our event. He visited the venue to avoid surprises; he clarified the styles of music we requested; he confirmed that the attire he had mind for the evening was appropriate. The video he has posted on the internet gives you an idea as to the quality of his sound, but it does not do justice to his presence "in person". His voice is smooth and as flawless as his guitar playing. Many of the guests went out of their way to comment to me how impressed they were with talent. We will, with no doubt, call Riley for any future entertainment needs or if one of our sons should choose to take guitar lessons!" - Christy L, Frisco, T

Pickin in Pilot Point, March, 2009-
"Many of my years have been spent being around various musicians (both big names and no names). Little did I know that when I found your website how wonderful you would be. Not only did you delight, but blew way past my expectations. You are so very talented and play such a wide spectrum of music which truly makes your appeal power very broad to many. I look forward to the next time that I plan a party. A party is not a party without you, Riley. Thanks so much for rockin' our socks off!" Cindy Solomon, Irving, TX
"Riley Wilson MADE the Surprise 95th B-Day PARTY for my Mother-in-Law! Without Riley Wilson the party would have been very dull! Riley is a very talented entertainer who plays as a perfectionist. He played each request flawlessly both on guitar and vocals. Rock n Roll, Classical, Country Rock Classic Pop- you name it, he can play it.. My Mother-In-Law who just turned 95, keeps talking about Riley and how she really enjoyed his music!" Ellen S, Irving, TX
"We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed you singing last night. it really made Sonny’s birthday extra special. You do an AWESOME job!!! Everyone was talking about how good you were and wanted to know how I found you. You made my niece’s night by letting her sing Happy Birthday to Sonny-that was so very nice of you. We will definitely recommend you to our friends!!!! Not to mention if we should have another party ourselves and need live entertainment you will be the first name on our list to call. Thank you again." Sandy and Sonny W, Cypress, TX

Solo performance, Cypress, TX Sept. 2009
"I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you entertaining the residents of the Renaissance on Turtle Creek. I have been playing for 30 years myself and consider myself a good critic of live entertainment. You were awesome!! You set the mood just right, you played to the crowd that was in attendance and it was at the right volume. Thank you very much and I assure you we will call on you again in the future." Duane Bates, General Manager, Renaissance on Turtle Creek, Dallas, T
"Riley was outstanding! He was punctual, organized and set up very quickly. He was a wonderful performer and our guests loved him. I would recommend him again in a second. He was such a talented performer. He really made our party very special. " Whitney S, Dallas
"Thank you for making our wedding so memorable with your beautiful music. You made a perfect day even better."
Colleen and Alan, Plano, TX
VERSATILITY- Unlike most performers who remain locked into one style of music, Riley is comfortable with all musical genres. His varied background (graduate of UNC- Chapel Hill and Hollywood's prestigious Musicians' Institute, "Vintage Guitar" magazine columnist, national voice over specialist, guitar and voice teacher) coupled with 39 years of live shows experience enable him to play all styles of music convincingly. He can play unaccompanied solo guitar as well as combine his guitar and voice with backing tracks for a full band sound in a small space.
FLEXIBILITY- Some musicians come unglued if they can't play at a certain volume, pout when they get special requests they can't handle or whine when asked to wear a particular outfit. Not Riley- his years of playing venues from coast to coast have helped him develop the ability to entertain even the most difficult crowds. Volume and costume requests are no problem- from casual dress to formal attire and even authentic western wear, Riley can fit in at any engagement . Additionally, his years of experience as a radio personality, commercial and voice talent means that special announcements and introductions are handled with a degree of professionalism no other solo performer can match.
THE FUN FACTOR- Most importantly, your guests want to have fun. This is where Riley excels. "Playing so many years in restaurants, strolling and taking requests, helped me understand how to kick things into high gear and when to lay back," he emphasizes. "It's not often people stump me, either musically or comically. We always have a great time, and that's the entire premise of my show- have fun!"
